Minneapolis, MN—The new AquaPLUS walk-behind carpet extractor from Advance is the first and only machine to have been certified by CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute) for soil removal, dry times and carpet appearance retention in both low-moisture and deep-cleaning modes. The CRI Seal of Approval was earned by the machine itself, unlike competitive equipment which meets CRI standards only when a specified, multi-step cleaning process is employed.
AquaPLUS extractors feature LIFT technology—which refers to the Low Moisture, Indirect Spray, Fast Dry Times and True Cleaning that are combined in the technology. LIFT uses a patented spray system to spray solution on the extractor brush instead of directly on carpet to help achieve the fast dry times required for daytime cleaning, while removing soil at the levels specified by CRI. The result is carpet that is clean and dry.
Extractors with the CRI Seal of Approval, such as AquaPLUS, meet the green-cleaning standards outlined in the new GS-42 Green Seal Environmental Standard for Cleaning Services. Operating at just 69 dB A, AquaPLUS machines also meet LEED-EB’s IEQ credit guidelines for quiet operation. With LIFT technology and CRI certification, AquaPLUS extractors are the “greenest” carpet extractors in the industry.
The AquaPLUS AXP™ model incorporates the patented AXP onboard detergent-dispensing system which provides the flexibility to clean with any detergent, including those that are green certified. The AXP model also includes Advance’s unique Deep Treat™ single-pass pre-spray feature; this feature eliminates clumsy hand-held spray bottles and allows the proper application of pre-spray chemical to minimize chemical use and costs.
AquaPLUS extractors are battery powered and include an onboard charger that allows charging anywhere. The machines are ideal for maintaining carpets in commercial, retail, healthcare and educational facilities.
