CRI Green Label Program. The Carpet & Rug Institute Green Label program uses an independent testing lab to measure and certify vacuum cleaner performance in three areas: soil removal, dust containment and carpet appearance retention.Machines must pass all three tests in order to earn the CRI Green Label.

Green Seal. Green Seal is an independent, nonprofit organization that identifies and promotes products and services that cause less toxic pollution and waste.
